Gratitude & Abundance: A Foundational Shift
Sometimes the energy speaks louder than the plans.
At the very last minute, Keya and I felt called to pivot from our original topic of Stress Responses and shift into something that felt a little lighter, but still incredibly important.
Gratitude and Abundance.
These aren't just feel-good buzzwords. They're foundational practices that gently rewire the nervous system, open the heart, and create space for more ease, joy, and flow.
And when you're navigating big life transitions, it can be easy to focus only on what's hard. But cultivating even the smallest moments of gratitude begins to shift everything. Gratitude is the magic that calls in abundance.
We don’t usually share full recordings of our Wisdom Circles, the live container is sacred and many parts are unrecorded but we do love to offer a little glimpse into the “pre chat,” the teaching and setup we share before we drop into journaling, meditation, and EFT together.
This month’s topic felt so vital, we wanted to make it available to everyone.
So here it is, your 18-minute sneak peek into July’s Gratitude & Abundance Circle.

Gratitude
There is pure power in the simplicity of gratitude. Whether you have experienced this firsthand, or whether you are new to the idea, gratitude hands the reigns of your life back over to you. Re-focusing your energy, refreshing your mindset, bringing you back, over and over to the things that you appreciate... there is nothing like it.
Think about it simply: when you do something for someone, or someone does something for you, is there a better chance for a repeat if gratitude was evident? Of course. Not saying we should do things solely to feel appreciated, but it certainly is an excellent motivator. At the Journey, we see that the Universe works in a similar way, though without the emotion. The Universe does not need your affirmation or appreciation. It simply works to bring you more of what your energy is calling for. And so, when you are calling out in appreciation more and more, the Universe lines up more things to keep you in that vibration. That attraction, that abundance of appreciation and good things.
Simple gratitude practices:
Finding a moment, in the morning, or middle of your day to write down, or verbally affirm 3 things you are grateful for in that moment.
Gratitude rock: finding a nice, solid, palm sized rock, that you can squeeze in your hand and keep by your bed. Before you go to bed each night, go through your day and pick the thing you are the most grateful for.
Shift the focus on your challenges: when circumstances are tough or it seems like something isn't going your way, choose to see it as an opportunity for growth and expansion.
Daily gratitude partner. Reach out to your reliable human and ask for some accountability. You will send them a daily text of gratitude and they will send you one. Gratitude is so powerful when shared.
Monthly gratitude jar. Keep a jar with small strips of paper and toss something your grateful for, big or small, in the jar as often as you can. Read through them as a family or couple at the end of each month.
Prioritizing recognizing other people in gratitude. Commit to two weeks of gratitude, sending a note or text to another Being each day telling them why you are grateful for their role in your life. - Keya
